What the Catholic Church Got Wrong

The path to enlightenment is challenging. It’s not embodying the light that’s hard — it’s getting to know all the shadow parts of ourselves that’s challenging.

If you’re anything like me — you’re on the spiritual and ascension path. You’re working to raise your vibration, heal your traumas and undo ancestral patterns. Yet as you try to raise your vibration you find yourself faced with lower vibration emotions, like fear, jealousy, anger, guilt, grief and shame. Feelings that society tells us make us “bad” people and make many people uncomfortable.

One of the biggest hurdles I’ve had to overcome on my healing journey was learning to not only face these these darker emotions but also understand and love them.

When I was growing up, I was rewarded when I was a “good girl” and didn’t cry or get angry so it was tempting for me to spiritually bypass facing those feelings as part of my healing.
